The CPI in May 2009 rose by 1.13% from the preceding month (rose by 1.44% less housing cost). Over the last 12 months the CPI rose by 11.6% (CPI less housing cost rose by 15.5%) while the change over the last 3 months is equivalent to an annual inflation of 4.0% (10.2% inflation less housing cost).
